Horry County Animal Care Center is a Municipal agency in Horry County that works closely with Horry County Police Department Animal Control. Our mission is to help animals and the community through education. We care for hurt, neglected, unwanted, and surrendered animals in our community, give them the veterinary care they need while they are with us, if they are healthy and behaviorally sound they go up for adoption through us. If they need additional help behaviorally or medically we work with multiple 501c3 rescues up and down the east coast. People should adopt from our organization because our animals need a second chance at a healthy and happy lifestyle and home. We love to see the rehabilitation of stray, surrendered, and neglected animals through adoption. And everyone who needs love can always find it through a pet with us.

Free adoptions at events, Free adoptions of any dog/cat over 1 year of age, Pet of the week is half price, Pick Me adoption event is free adoptions.
